About Siddharth Pillai
Siddharth has over 15 years of experience in nonprofit work across India, with expertise in digital safety, research, and advocacy. He co-founded RATI Foundation and the Aarambh India Initiative, which received the Presidential National Award in 2017 for pioneering CSAM reporting in India. At RATI, he leads online safety strategy and co-created initiatives like Meri Trustline, an award-winning national helpline for victims of online abuse, and Ideal Internet Researchers, exploring children’s digital lives. He has worked with the Union Ministry of Women & Child Development, UNESCO Asia-Pacific, and ECPAT-India on online child safety frameworks. Earlier, he worked on campaigns with Video Volunteers and Red Cross Hunger Videos.
