Laureate, Founder of #StopFisha. Shanley Clemot McLaren founded #StopFisha, one of the world’s first organizations against online gender-based violence. She has shaped national, European, and international policies, contributing to the EU’s Digital Services Act, AI Act, and Directive on violence against women, as well as France’s SREN Law. From 2023 to 2025, as Gender and Digital Policy Advisor at France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, she shaped the Laboratory for women's rights online - the first international and multistakeholder platform dedicated to find transnational solutions against online and technology- facilitated gender-based violence. She also spearheaded initiatives at the AI Action Summit and the United Nations, securing groundbreaking commitments on gender equality and AI.
