About Nandita Baruah
Nandita Baruah has over 35 years of experience working in the development sector in Asia. She is the Country Representative - India at The Asia Foundation. She has served in leadership positions in the Asia Foundation's country offices in Cambodia and Nepal. Nandita has held senior technical and leadership positions with several multilateral and bilateral development agencies across South Asia, including UNODC, UNWomen, CIDA, and USAID. Her portfolio of engagement spans gender-based violence, feminist foreign policy, human trafficking, migration and mobility, governance, climate and environmental resilience, digital literacy and workforce development.
