About Uma Submanian
Uma Subramanian is Co-Founder and Director of RATI Foundation and a social worker with over 15 years of experience in child protection. She co-founded the Aarambh India Initiative, which established India’s first hotline for reporting child sexual abuse material (CSAM), and was recognised with the Presidential National Award for Child Welfare. At RATI, she co-leads organizational strategy across child protection and online safety. Uma is also a master trainer who has trained more than 5,000 stakeholders on various aspects of child protection, including responding to online sexual abuse.
