About Tamanna Rahman
Ms. Tamanna Rahman is an expert in Communication and Media for Development sector Bangladesh. In her 31+ years’ career path, she gained vast experience in communications, advocacy and campaign related activities including program, research, organizational capacity building initiatives etc. Currently, she is working with multiple organizations, such as, acting as an Executive Director, Coalition of Development Communication Society (CDCS), Director, Medicare Japan and Ovibash Technical Training Institute (a sister concerned of Medicare Japan). She is also an enlisted Recourse Person of Bangladesh Community Radio Association (BCRA), she also act as a Local Commissioner, Uttara District, Bangladesh Girl Guides Association. She started her career as a Coordinator with the South Asian Disaster Management Center under International University of Business Agriculture and Technology - IUBAT. She also acted as a Program Officer, Research, Training and Management International and Coordinator Building Capacity of Bangladesh NGO’s Network for Radio and Communication-BNNRC along with other organizations. In her long career journey, Ms. Rahman facilitated many training workshops in the country and abroad. She is graduated from the University of Dhaka, where she completed both of her BSS and MSS under Sociology discipline.
