About Mahima Kaul
Mahima Kaul is Director of Global Affairs at Netflix India, where she leads engagement with government, industry, and civil society to help shape India’s media and entertainment policy landscape. She focuses on navigating regulatory developments, advocating for an enabling environment for the creative sector, and fostering partnerships—such as skill development initiatives under the The Netflix Fund for Creative Equity. Before Netflix, Mahima was Director of Public Policy, Asia Pacific at Bumble, where she established the policy function across the region and worked on issues like dating app safety, AI harms, and regulatory compliance. She also launched stakeholder dialogues in India and Australia. Previously, she led public policy for Twitter India for 6 years, and worked with the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) as head of the Cyber and New Media Initiative.
