About Haribol Acharya
Haribol Acharya is a Faculty Member at Amrit Campus, Tribhuvan University, and a leading Digital Rights and Online Safety researcher with over ten years of experience advancing child online protection, cybersecurity, and digital citizenship in Nepal. He co-authored Nepal’s national Manual for Child Online Protection Facilitators alongside UNICEF and the Nepal Telecommunication Authority, and served as Lead Data Analyst for World Vision's landmark study on child online safety. As Executive Director at Social Impact and Strategic Advisor to the Net4Good Alliance—having represented the coalition at the Meta Safety Summit in Singapore—he regularly drives capacity-building programs, curriculum development, and Training of Trainers (ToTs) on ethical AI, digital literacy, and online risk mitigation.
