About Faye D’Souza
Faye D’Souza is a journalist with 22 years of experience in television, radio, print and digital. She now runs a digital content brand called 'Beatroot' that aims to restore the dignity of news by informing young Indians in a manner that is non-partisan and respectful. She was the youngest woman to lead a national news television channel in India. She received the RedInk Award for "Journalist of the Year" in 2018 and the RedInk Award for reporting on health during the pandemic in 2021. She was also named Vogue Woman of the Year in 2018, Impact’s 40 Under 40 and has been rated among the most impactful women in media and marketing in India. She also enjoys speaking with young people and women about building credibility, shattering the glass ceiling, and making professional dreams come true. Her content and work focus on equal rights, LGBTQI rights, Climate change, and mental health.
