Join our pre-conference virtual networking event to meet fellow attendees and discuss pressing trust and safety issues.

Before the main event in October, TASI is hosting a Community Mixer — a virtual pre-conference networking session for registered attendees, speakers, and members of the broader trust and safety community.

The TASI Community Mixer is designed to do one thing well: help people find each other. Trust and safety is a small, interconnected field, and some of the most valuable conversations at TASI happen not in sessions but in corridors, over coffee, and in the moments between. The Community Mixer creates that kind of space, virtually, ahead of the in-person event.

The session will be structured to encourage genuine connection rather than passive listening. Expect short introductions, topic-based breakout rooms, and open conversation threads where attendees can share what they are working on, what they are struggling with, and who they are hoping to meet in October.

Topics likely to come up include AI and content moderation, regulatory developments in India and the broader Global South, child safety challenges, gender-based online harms, and the mental health and wellbeing of trust and safety workers — all areas that will feature prominently in the TASI 2026 programme.

The Community Mixer is open to all registered TASI 2026 attendees as well as members of the broader community who are interested in connecting ahead of the festival. If you are not yet registered but would like to attend the Mixer, reach out to the TASI team through the contact page.

Details on the date and time of the Community Mixer will be shared via email to registered participants in the weeks leading up to the event. Stay tuned and look out for your invite.
